The event was designed to strengthen donor relationships, introduce prospective supporters to the organization, and encourage participation through a relaxed social gathering rather than a traditional fundraising event.
Venue & Community Partners
Developed and hosted an annual donor cultivation event in partnership with The Wine Exchange, a locally owned wine shop operated by long-time organizational supporters.
Guests enjoyed curated wine tastings, appetizers, and conversation with fellow supporters, organizational leadership, and community partners. Many attendees brought their pets, creating a welcoming and distinctly mission-aligned atmosphere.
While relationship-building remained the primary objective, the event incorporated light fundraising elements including a “Stock the Cellar” wine donation initiative and a 50/50 raffle.
The intimate setting provided an opportunity for supporters to connect with one another, learn more about the organization’s work, and engage in informal conversation outside of a traditional fundraising environment.
The Annual Wine Tasting strengthened relationships among donors, supporters, and community partners while creating a welcoming and highly social stewardship experience.
The event generated more than $1,000 in donated wine inventory and more than $5,000 in raffle participation revenue.
Guests lingered over wine tastings, appetizers, raffle drawings, and conversation, demonstrating the value of smaller-scale cultivation events built around hospitality, shared interests, and community.
