Create a large-scale community event capable of increasing organizational visibility, expanding audience reach, and introducing new supporters to animal welfare resources, education, and services.
Developed and executed a free community pet festival celebrating the human-animal bond through education, entertainment, and hands-on participation.
Hosted at a local minor league baseball stadium, Pets-AH-Palooza brought together animal welfare organizations, community partners, educators, sponsors, vendors, and pet lovers for a day dedicated to learning, discovery, and fun.
The event featured educational speakers, pet-focused demonstrations, shopping, entertainment, community resources, and interactive activities designed to introduce attendees to the many ways animals enrich our lives and the services available to support them.

More than 3,000 people attended the all-day festival, many arriving with their pets. From cats in strollers and hundreds of dogs to an unexpected pig, the event created a vibrant celebration of the human-animal bond.
Guests enjoyed performances by The Canine Stars, educational sessions on therapy work, wildlife coexistence, pet safety, enrichment, and training, along with a marketplace featuring more than 100 vendors and community organizations.
Dogs participated in agility courses, lure coursing, training demonstrations, and treibball activities while attendees connected with organizations offering resources related to veterinary care, animal behavior, therapy programs, adoption, and human services.
The event expanded awareness of the organization’s programs, attracted audiences from well beyond its traditional service area, and created new opportunities for future community outreach and engagement.
