Response/Solution

Guests were encouraged to bring their dog(s) & walk a 1.65-mile walk around the Batavia Riverwalk.

Those unable to attend were encouraged to walk in their own neighborhood on Walk Day or stay home and gather donations to help Anderson Humane. Distance supporters were encouraged to participate in a virtual capacity.

Outcome/Results

The change in venue was embraced. This event increased crowdfunding by 75% and welcomed over 300 participants.
