Imagine the longest day of sunlight surrounded by nature in an intimate setting with the sounds of a renowned string trio.
This event offered a new take on Summer Solstice traditions and an elegant, yet casual, setting to connect with existing and future donors.
The venue, chosen for its openness and proximity to the Fox River Trails, often yields fox, eagle, waterfowl and other wildlife sightings. Wildlife Specialists were onsite to guide guests in birdwatching and treat them to a special appearance by Ambassador Animal, Isabelle, the Virgina Opossum.
Wrapped in the forest canopy and accompanied by the sounds of a string trio (harp, violin, cello), this event offered the opportunity for board members and executives to connect one-on-one with existing and potential donors and sponsors.
Today, people worldwide still celebrate summer’s arrival, or midsummer, with outdoor feasts and festivities, including singing, dancing, musical performances or concerts, bonfires, and enjoying delicious food and drinks.
These nature-themed elements of Summer Solstice, a natural extension of the client’s animal welfare mission, made for a perfect donor cultivation event.
