The opportunity to enjoy a 3-hour cruise along the Fox River in a paddle boat allowed guests to travel from the era of Mark Twain while enjoying beer, wine & light appetizers.
On board Wildlife Specialists discussed animals indigenous to the Fox River while pointing out nests, dams, waterfowl and birds.
Wildlife staff and management educated and connected with supporters/donors in an unusual way: on water in the wild.
Guests enjoyed a different vantage point of the river as they were shown the role different wildlife species play in the biosphere they call home.
Event yielded over $6,000, a sponsor for the ensuing gala, and a few new monthly donors.
