Designed and executed an outdoor donor experience at The Wilds in North Aurora, taking advantage of the property’s natural setting along the Fox River.
The evening combined:
Wildlife specialists introduced guests to local wildlife and Ambassador Animal Isabelle, a Virginia opossum, while sharing insight into conservation, coexistence, and rehabilitation efforts throughout the region.
Surrounded by forest canopy and accompanied by harp, violin, and cello performances, guests enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged conversation and relationship-building.
Additional elements, including a bouquet bar, fireside desserts, and nature-inspired hospitality, reinforced the event’s focus on gathering, celebration, and appreciation for the natural world.

The Summer Solstice event helped cultivate new donor, volunteer, and foster relationships while re-engaging several supporters who had become inactive with the organization.
The intimate format created opportunities for meaningful interaction among supporters, Board members, sponsors, and organizational leadership in a setting that reflected the organization’s mission and values.
New volunteers, fosters, and donor relationships emerged from the gathering, while several previously inactive supporters returned to organizational involvement.
